On 31 December 2025, the Torch Relay travels along the Apulian Adriatic coast, where the sea meets white stone towns and the geometric landscape of the Itria Valley. The route connects coastal views with inland traditions, highlighting architecture, history, and local culture across southern Italy.
The day begins in Brindisi, a historic port city shaped by centuries of maritime exchange between the Mediterranean and the East. The relay then moves to Ostuni, known as the White City, where sunlit architecture defines one of the most recognizable skylines in the region.
The Flame goes north to Monopoli, where the old harbor and coastal defenses show that the area has been involved in trade and shipping for a long time. The Torch goes across limestone cliffs in Polignano a Mare that look out over the Adriatic Sea. This is one of the most famous coastal locations for the relay.
